It's only Monday, but already, this week is proving to be a difficult one. From the tragic San Bernardino elementary school shooting to the disturbing United Airlines passenger incident, Apr. 10 has been rough, to say the least.

San Bernardino + A Horrific Shooting

In an absolute tragedy, a shooting at a San Bernardino, California elementary school on Monday afternoon left two people dead and two others injured, according to police. The act is reportedly being considered a murder-suicide, but little other information is known at this time. Photos of the San Bernardino shooting scene are heartbreaking, featuring kids evacuating while holding hands. What an awful, awful situation.

Take Action: When it comes to gun violence, thoughts and prayers are simply not enough. As these San Bernardino tributes make clear, it's long past time that action was taken to prevent tragedies like this from happening.

United Airlines + What Happened

A disturbing video shared on Monday morning showed a man being dragged off a United Airlines plane against his will, reportedly due to him refusing to leave the plane after being told it was overbooked and that he'd have to exit. It's a highly upsetting video, and although United has released a statement saying they're investigating the matter, many people are outraged and are demanding more from the airline.
