'The Craft's Rochelle Has A Magical Job IRL

You can file this under news that will make '90s kids want to play light as a feather, stiff as a board immediately. Thanks to an LA Weekly interview, the world now knows The Craft star Rachel True reads Tarot cards in real life. I know. If you're ever in the L.A. area and you stop in at House of Intuition, you may end up getting a reading from Rochelle herself.

After her memorable turn as a teenage witch who was part of a powerful coven in the '90s hit The Craft, True and her co-stars will likely always be associated with all things mystical. Of course, the actor will be the first to tell you that Tarot cards aren't about magic. She told LA Weekly about her knack for reading cards,

"I find that a lot of people have a misconception that there is something heavy or dark about it. And honestly it is just cards with archetypes on them. The tricky thing that I think people miss is the cards aren't magic, what they do is: they help you — they hopefully help you — lock into your own intuition."

Lest you think this is a case of life imitating art, True revealed she was interested in magic and using her intuition to help people long before she got her role in The Craft. In fact, she recalled reading the script and saying, "If anyone is going to be a little black witch in this town: It's me! It's me!"

After all these years, it seems she would still be down for a sequel too — especially if it revisited the women as adults. Coincidentally, a new The Craft is in the works at Sony. Earlier this month, Den of Geek reported 10 Cloverfield Lane writer Daniel Casey is working on the script. Currently, the plan is for the film to be set 20 years after the first movie, but it's unclear if it will involve the actors from the original. Fingers crossed Hollywood doesn't miss the opportunity to make magic with the astounding cast one more time.

Of course, True would have to make time in her busy schedule if a sequel did come to fruition. You see, she's not just reading cards, she's also a lifestyle blogger, and her acting career is still going strong. She has several movies coming up, including Laveau, in which she will play the titular role of the iconic voodoo practitioner Marie Laveau — yet another role Rochelle would surely approve of.

It's amazing to hear True shares so much in common with one of her most famous characters, but that she also has a myriad of passions. You don't need to read any cards to tell you how awesome this '90s star continues to be.
