There Are So Many Signs That Rachel & Eric Get Engaged On 'The Bach'

Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette has taken fans on an interesting journey, to say the least. At times, it has been a little tough to pinpoint who the frontrunners are in this pack of men that are vying for her heart (besides Peter and Bryan who have been there from the start), but one guy who started out slow is now in the final four. Bachelorette contestant Eric Bigger was initially not one of the guys that I saw hanging until the very end. He was a lot quieter than the rest, but it's clear he and Rachel have a connection and he's one of just four men hoping to propose to her in the end. And, there are some serious signs that Eric and Rachel get engaged on The Bachelorette.

Each time that they interact in an intimate space where it is just the two of them, the chemistry between them is completely palpable. It really sealed things for me when Eric was honest with Rachel about the fact that he doesn't feel he has ever been in love. He even opened up further to explain that he believes that this is traceable to what he claims was his mother failing to express love for him. That's a really vulnerable thing to admit and the fact that he felt comfortable expressing this to Rachel speaks volumes about their relationship. And, there have been plenty of other potential engagement signs.

He's Public About His Crush

Eric, like most other Bachelorette contestants, posts a lot about the show on his Instagram account. What's different about Eric's posts is the genuine love that can be felt from anything that involves Rachel. He gushes in a way that someone truly in love with someone else gushes. Of course, he could just be grateful for the experience, but these posts are still adorably mushy.

They Have A Real Connection

Anybody who has watched the show can see that their dates are full of chemistry and genuine feelings for each other. There's no way that their kind of connection can be put on for the cameras. It feels like they forget that they are even on TV when it's just the two of them.

He's Getting An Interesting Edit

Eric has truly been the dark horse in this competition. He started out as someone who wasn't obviously the frontrunner (he was even involved in some of the house drama), but lately he's been shown as a real contender. Bachelor Nation knows that the type of editing a contestant gets can sometimes give some hints about their fate on the show. Eric seems to be getting a quiet-guy-to-frontrunner edit, which is a great way to showcase a blossoming love.

Eric could be the one to come from behind and take it all in the end. He and Rachel make an adorable couple, there's no doubt about that. But, whichever way it goes, at least we don't have to wait too much longer to find out.
