Fans Are Comparing Colton To This 'BiP' Bad Boy & They're Not TOTALLY Wrong

If you thought that the Colton and Tia drama was going to be any better after their date last week, think again. On Monday night, fans were sharing tweets about Colton being "the new Dean" on Bachelor in Paradise, so it's probably safe to say that they're not impressed by his behavior so far.

Remember how Dean was totally beloved when he was on Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette? He was sweet and adorable, and everyone was rooting for him. Then, once he showed up in Paradise, all bets were off. He ended up in a seriously awkward love triangle with Kristina and Danielle, stringing them both along, and the way he treated them was enough to turn most fans against him by the end of the season. And now, it seems like the same thing is happening with Colton.

Obviously, Colton and Tia's prior relationship (or lack thereof, depending on who you talk to and when) was a big talking point on The Bachelorette. But even now that they're in paradise together, it doesn't seem like he and Tia are any closer to figuring things out — and even though he obviously has feelings for her, he's still unwilling to commit to trying to date her for real. Of course, Twitter has lit up with the comparisons, and so far, it's not coming out favorable for Colton at all. People pointed out that Colton's behavior is kinda like Dean's behavior back then.

The Similarities Are Real

Someone else also pointed out that Colton's also like Dean in that he doesn't know what he wants — which he demonstrated by telling Tia she should be happy with someone else if she finds the opportunity, but was still jealous and upset she was with Chris — and that he may as well just leave the show and start his own podcast like Dean did, too.

So Indecisive

One fan even compared Colton and Tia to Dean and Kristina, adding a new level of parallels to this situation. It definitely does seem like she's Kristina in this situation, honestly — and we all know things didn't play out in the best way for her last summer, so maybe it would be a good idea for Tia to get out now before things get any worse?

Ugh, The Comparisons Are Not Good For Anyone

And aside from all the comparisons, it was pretty clear that no one was having any of Colton's drama or behavior this time around... and there were plenty of tweets on that subject, too.

People Are *Over* It

Colton may have no idea where his head's at — and he's obviously still trying to get over Becca, who is engaged to another man at this point — but he still needs to figure it out ASAP before things get any deeper. Tia's feelings for Colton are real, and she deserves an answer for him (a definite one this time) before she gets even more invested and risks missing out on an awesome, reciprocated relationship with someone else.
