Upcoming Women's Rights Rallies & Protests

If you're just coming off the intense high of International Women's Day and the women's strike, I feel you. After such an exhilarating and exciting day, you probably already want to know what upcoming women's protests and rallies are going to be taking place, because you still have so much energy left to fight for your rights. And the good thing is, the organizers of these events and your community leaders still have energy too. Momentum is just only building! The more influence our current administration has on women's rights, the more need for action there is. So efforts will only continue to ramp up as a reaction.

Over the next few months there will be tons of events for us to harness our power, raise out voice and evoke change. While not all events will be as large, they'll be equally as powerful. And if you're not already in a local community group or meet up, you'll want to make sure you're regularly checking women's rights Facebook groups as that's one of the best ways to stay informed. Plus, if you ever want to make your own event, you can easily get your friends involved through Facebook, too.

If you're anxiously anticipating the next event to look forward to, here are a few that are coming up:

New York

In Forest Hills, New York, on Mar. 26 at noon in MacDonald Park, a rally for women's rights will commence with locals.

Pennsylvania

In West Chester, Pennsylvania a women's rights group will gather with health care on the agenda. The rally will begin at 1 p.m.

New York City

At 1 p.m. on Thurs., Mar. 16, women will join together at DAG's cafe for an international rally.

Sydney

On Sat., Mar. 11 at 10 a.m., International Women's Day will be celebrated in Australia. Join the rally at Archibald Fountain.

United Kingdom

If you live in London, you'll want participate at the WOW Young Women's Rally, taking place at 3 p.m. at Southbank Centre.

Florida

The Democratic Women's Club of Florida is getting together on Sat., May 20 at 10 a.m. to celebrate Democratic Women's Month and listen to speakers.

Michigan

In coordination with the Women's March's "100 Actions in 100 Days", the fine folks of Lansing, Michigan are getting together on Apr. 30, at 10 a.m. to rally.

Washington D.C.

A rally for safe feminine care products will commence on May 23, at 11 a.m. in Washington D.C..

Zurich, Switzerland

On March 18 at 1:30 p.m., the women of Zurich are getting together to march. Join them at Helvetiaplatz Zürich.
