What Does Starbucks' Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Creme Taste Like?

There is little as satisfying as tasting a juicy piece of fruit on a hot summer day. Well — what if you could capture that taste in a cool liquid drink? Sounds pretty enticing right, especially with these temperatures? Well, thanks to Starbucks that dream has become a reality: On Jun. 20, Starbucks released two new drinks as part of their Summer of Color collection — and trust me when I say that the new Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino and the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino are the cool fruit drinks you've been waiting for. But, if you're as much of a Starbucks aficianado as I am, you might be wondering: what does the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Crème taste like?

It really is as good as the ingredients that create it. To make this drink, the Mango Crème Frappuccino is poured into the mix on top of a mango pineapple fruit puree. The puree is a blend of the flavors of juicy mango, pineapple and a little lime. Then, as a way to boost the taste, another layer of mango pineapple fruit puree is added as a finishing touch to the drink.

Almost like a drink version of a great tropical smoothie, the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Crème is, at first sip, a perfect blend of exotic fruits. It is creamy but in a light, smooth way that makes sure the drink doesn't weigh you down as you enjoy it. For anyone who loves the sweet tastes of fruit, this is the drink for you.

Take a trip to your nearby Starbucks and try your soon to be mango addiction. The Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Crème is only available for the summer while supplies last. Head over now and enjoy.
