Madewell is no longer just for your wardrobe. The brand is now coming for your makeup drawers, too. On Oct. 23, Madewell launched Beauty Cabinet, a curation of over 40 beauty products available in select store locations and online. Ranging from practical lip balms and sheet masks to indulgent bath soaks and makeup palettes, the selection is meant to aid you in every step of your beauty routine. To bring you these products, the brand is linking up with companies like Herbivore Botanicals, French Girl, Daughter of the Land, Ursa Major, and Moon River Naturals.
As you would expect, their beauty collection mimics the aesthetic of the minimalist but streamlined clothing you can find in their display windows.
“The way the team and I approached the beauty assortment was similar to how we would any other collection—we wanted it to be simple, practical and effortless," says Madewell Head Designer Joyce Lee. "Our ultimate goal is to offer our customers items that inspire and can be a part of their everyday."
When trying to decide which products to include in the line, the brand decided to study which products people truly obsess over.
“It was important to us that the items we chose could fit seamlessly into our customers’ daily routine, so the first thing I did was turn to my team to learn what products they couldn’t live without," Lee explains.
Once they had their data, the team personally tested out products over a few weeks. The result were a selection of products that truly gets Team Madewell’s stamp of approval. Ahead are some of the most exciting products to shop.
