This Is When The Leather Rihanna Puma Creepers Drop

First, there was suede. Then, there was velvet. Now, we're getting leather, both smoothed and cracked patent! Rihanna's Puma x Fenty Creepers have come in many different colors and textures, with several black and white pairs in the the suede and velvet drops. Now, the Rihanna Puma Creepers are dropping in two new colors and fabrics — there is a white, smooth leather pair with black detailing and an all-black pair with a cracked patent leather effect. So, when are the leather Rihanna Puma Creepers coming out?

You can shop the leather Puma Creepers on Thursday, Apr. 6 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT, a fact verified by the countdown clock on the Puma site. That counter is no joke — the brand knows that Creeper drops are accompanied by some serious shopping mania, which causes the site to crash and leads to an eventual sellout.

This is the first Creeper drop of 2017, so it's even more highly anticipated, especially since the shoe is cruising online and into retailers with a fresh texture.

This edition of the Creeper rocks the same general look, thanks to the stacked platform sole. But it boasts a different feel —literally— since the shoes are leather rather than suede.

Most Creepers have come in suede. The velvets came in three shades and were not restocked. There was also the burnt orange camo version from last year, as well. The all-black, cracked patent leather version is super glossy and chic. Peep the silver branding details via this aerial view.

The all-white pair is made of a smoother, non-glossed leather. There is a black stripe and black heel strip, along with gold branding. Puma did drop an all-white leather pair last year. The change here are the black elements.

The platform sole is what makes the Creeper so unique, IMO.

You could totally rock these with an all-black ensemble.

The mirror-like, shiny fabric upscales this all-black Creeper.
