The Billboard Music Awards are right around the corner, and the red carpet is sure to swarm with music's most harmonious couples. We certainly see Selena Gomez and The Weeknd together "Often," and the musical pair are like to be at the show since the "Party Monster" singer is nominated for 13 awards, and Gomez is nominated for Top Social Artist. But just how long have the pair been dating?

The Weeknd and model Bella Hadid called it quits back in Novemeber 2016 due to conflicting schedules, according to People. By January 2017, TMZ caught Gomez and The Weeknd spotted out and about on a couple of PDA-filled dates. However, in the world of social media, no relationship status is official until its confirmed online.

The pair traveled the world together — from Italy to Brazil — while The Weeknd toured. Gomez strategically dodged relationship questions from Vogue in the process. Yet, the Disney alum finally uploaded a photo in the arms of her boo on Instagram in April. Just days later, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in New York City, and the entertainment world has been transfixed ever since. Let's take a look back at their whirlwind romance.

January 10

TMZ snapped photos of Gomez and The Weeknd leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, CA on January 10.

January 28

Just days later, the couple flew off to Italy where The Weeknd snapped a secret shot of Gomez gazing at the Birth of Venus.

January 30

Gomez seemingly returned the favor by posting a video on Instagram of her beau chilling on a gondola, but it was later deleted.

February 27

The two had a romantic rendezvous in Paris in late February.

March 26

Gomez went on tour with The Weeknd popping up everywhere from Paris to Amsterdam. But she was caught on the big screen at The Weeknd's concert in Brazil.

April 8

The Weeknd shared a photo on Instagram of Gomez giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek.

April 15

Gomez shared a cute photo of herself getting a hug from her "Starboy."

All eyes will certainly be on the Gomez and The Weeknd if they take on the red carpet together again. Gomez told Vogue in April that after her highly public relationship with Justin Bieber, she won't talk as openly about her future loves. "Look, I love what I do, and I'm aware of how lucky I am, but — how can I say this without sounding weird? I just really can't wait for people to forget about me." Based on that, it's doubtful that we'll get the real inside scoop about their love story anytime soon, so bopefully, seeing them arm-in-arm will be enough for now.
