The Rihanna Loves Chopard Jewelry Collection Is Epic

I follow this fashion golden rule. One everyday item I'm wearing can be luxury, like, say, a YSL or Alexander Wang bag or Chloe sunglasses. The rest of the ensemble can be Old Navy and Converse. A single designer piece elevates the entire presentation. Rihanna, who is teaming up with high-end jeweler Chopard for a limited edition collection, has supremely mastered the high x low mashup concept with her personal style and her brand.

Rih is as much about the highest of highs — her Manolo Blahnik heels collab or her futuristic Dior sunglasses— as she is about her cool and more affordable street style collabs, like her Puma Creepers or her Stance socks. Her latest partnership with Chopard is epic and falls well out of my price range. That won't stop me from drooling over it, though.

Hang on, I need to get a paper towel to wipe up the mess.

OK, I'm back. Here's what to know about Rihanna Loves Chopard.

Women's Wear Daily reports that Rih co-designed the collection with Chopard's Caroline Scheufele. Rihanna personally picked some of the gems, as well.

According to WWD, the range will include one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the singer's island home of Barbados. There is a nine-piece capsule and only 2,000 of each design will be produced. Those will be sold at Chopard locations in June.

This blingy diamond watch is a stunner. It's also price-upon-request.

Go ahead and gawk over these colorful drop chandelier earrings. They are also PUR.

This ceramic and geometric necklace is nearly $4,000. So, yeah, if you absolutely love Rihanna's impeccable accessories game and want to follow the wardrobe notion of mixing one really pricy piece with a bunch of super inexpensive items, you better start scrimping, saving, begging, borrowing, and stealing! Most of the Rihanna Loves Chopard pieces are several thousands of dollars.

The collection will officially debut at the Cannes Film Festival, an event that often finds celebs decked out in the epitome of chic gowns, in May. BTW, Emma Stone in an Oscar de la Renta LBD is one of my fave Cannes looks... ever.

If you can't cop one of these elegant necklaces or rings, then stick with taking inspo from Rih's more accessible street style. You could grab some of the Stance socks.

The new cracked leather Puma Creepers are still in stock, as well. See! There are plenty of other, cost-effective ways to get a piece of Rihanna's style.
