With the temperatures growing cooler, the days getting shorter, the air conditioner becoming less of a lifeline, and drugstores filling up with orange candy bags, most of us can't stop wondering about one important thing: when is the Pumpkin Spice Latté going to be available at Starbucks in 2017?

It's an understandable question: Starting the day with a warm cozy drink that hits all the pleasure receptors in your brain is great way to combat the stress of every day life, especially as the weather grows colder. While that iced coffee summer life was refreshing, now's a time when we're seeking comfort — and considering the fact that over 200 million PSLs have been sold since they first debuted on the Starbucks menu 14 years ago, I think it's safe to say that we all turn to the drink when the fall starts to set it. So, when it is returning?

Well, good news: It's going to be available to everyone soon. I know you were anticipating an early release for Starbucks rewards members, and I hear you — I was hoping for one too. That's not happening this year, but the official, wide release is still early enough: According to Starbucks, the official return date for the PSL is Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. ET. So basically, you can get your first morning cup of Pumpkin Spice on Sept. 5. It's like your welcome back to the real world drink after a long weekend of end-of-summer beaching over Labor Day weekend!
