Although they haven't been spotted together a lot recently, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have known each other since they were children, and with news of the latter's recent engagement, fans are probably wondering whether or not Kardashian will be at Hilton's wedding. Well, it's starting to seem likely that she will be, at least based on short statements they've each recently given to TMZ. But hey, that's still something — especially considering that neither of them had to even acknowledge the questions they were being asked.

In past interviews, Hilton has claimed that she and Kardashian met when they were "little girls." Then, in 2006 when Hilton was at the height of her The Simple Life fame, she introduced the world to Kardashian when the two walked a red carpet together for the first time, according to Huffington Post. At the time, Hilton was not speaking to her co-star Nicole Richie and was supposedly looking for a new best friend. She even went on to launch a reality show about her best friend search, but that's beside the point.

On Saturday, Jan. 6, TMZ photographers got a brief comment from Hilton while she was outside of Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood with her fiancé Chris Zylka that seemed to confirm her intent to invite Kardashian to her wedding. After being asked a number of questions about her future wedding, one person asked whether she was planning to extend an invitation to "Kim K" and Hilton simply said, "Of course." Now, she could have been talking about a different "Kim K," but it seems more likely that she understood who the photog meant. Check out her response in the video below and judge for yourself; the Kardashian question happens just after the 30-second mark.

Then, this past Friday, Jan. 12, TMZ got a video of Kardashian and her husband Kanye West as they arrived and left dinner at the very same restaurant. One of the photographers, who captured footage of Hilton the previous week, relayed the news to Kardashian that she was going to be invited to Hilton's wedding. When asked if she would accept the invitation, Kardashian is heard saying, "We would love to come."

The possibility of Kardashian attending Hilton's wedding is pretty exciting news, and a sign that the two have clearly moved on from any past drama. You see, over the years, things haven't always been that great between Hilton and Kardashian. Sure, they were besties on the red carpet in 2006, but at the time, the friendship was short-lived. In 2008, Hilton reportedly criticized Kardashian's appearance, using unpleasant words to describe her body, then she ended an interview on Good Morning America when she was pressed about Kardashian in 2011.

A couple of years later, however, the two stars seemed to be on good terms when Hilton and Kardashian reunited in Ibiza for a party for Riccardo Tisci. Kardashian even shared the receipts on Instagram with a caption reading, "Reminiscing about the 1st time we went to Ibiza in 2006!" Kardashian also added that it was good to catch up with Hilton.

After all of the years of history they have between them, it would be cool to see pictures of Kardashian at Hilton's wedding. According to what she told TMZ though, Hilton seems to be in the early stages of planning her weddings (she reportedly plans to have three, by the way), so it may seem too soon to know for sure whether Kardashian will actually be attending or not.

Still, Hilton also told Extra that she wants to get married "as soon as possible," so fans might start getting details on who exactly will be in attendance in the near future.
