Ali Drucker

Ali Drucker is a freelance writer who writes for Bustle. She primarily covers topics in the lifestyle section that range from love, relationships, sex, mental health, and more. She particularly enjoys stories that both help demystify the dilemmas people face in their personal relationships and provide actionable resources to move forward.

Ali is the author of Do As I Say, Not Who I Did: Honest Advice On Hookups And Relationships In College, which is a memoir that draws on interviews with students and experts alike to guide young women through their formative intimate experiences. Previously, Ali has worked at Cosmopolitan and Maxim, and her work on subjects from pop culture to fashion has appeared in The New York Times, HuffPost, The Cut, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, and more. She studied English and Gender Studies at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa (an honor society, not a sorority!) and graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors.

When Ali isn’t writing, she enjoys running, cooking, and going on walks with her moderately well-behaved German Shepherd, Bean. Her cat, Louie, is her inspiration for slowing down and taking time to enjoy a good nap wherever you can find it.
