Gabrielle Bondi

Gaby is the TV Editor at Bustle, where she leads coverage of all that’s good, bad, and nostalgic on TV — from reality shows to scripted dramas and comedies. She oversees a team of staff writers and assigns news and features that cover a mix of new and classic TV series.

She was previously the Entertainment Editor at Inverse and the Editor-in-Chief of The Young Folks, a pop culture website she co-founded that ran from 2010 to 2022. As a freelance journalist, her work has appeared in BuzzFeed News, The Washington Post, and Entertainment Weekly. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Northwestern University and her master’s in Magazine Journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. She is the winner of the 2022 Harrington Award for Magazine, Medill’s highest honor for graduate students.

Gaby lives in Chicago, where she was born and raised. While she doesn’t have a strong opinion on deep-dish pizza, she enjoys discovering new restaurants in Chicago and on her travels. When she isn’t watching TV or making up new nicknames for her dogs, you can find her working on a craft project, thinking about signing up for tap dance lessons, and (unsuccessfully) trying to read three different books simultaneously.
