Beyonce's Latest Is Uncharacteristically Ladylike

by Sienna Fantozzi

Though we're used to seeing her all edgy and fierce, Beyonce wore a floral dress in New York City on Monday, making for an uncharacteristically ladylike look. Although ladylike is by no means synonymous with demure, because there was plenty of boobage on display. Queen Bey slays yet again.

The 711 singer stepped out in Manhattan, and decided to take a break from her ripped jeans and runway ready looks to show off her more elegant side. Bey wore a black, knee-length Dolce & Gabbana dress with white florals all over it. The strapless frock hit just at her knee, and showed off plenty of cleavage. She is Beyoncé, after all, and she's definitely got it, so flaunt it, right?

Though the 33-year-old sexed up her dress a bit, she kept the rest of the look polished with nude, Stuart Weitzman ankle strap sandals, a beige handbag, and a white coat slung elegantly over her shoulders. With her blonde hair in full, voluminous curls, Knowles looked looked effortlessly chic.

I know fall fashion is on the brain right now, but we still have a month of summer to go, and this is a pretty great look to take inspiration from. So here's a few options to steal Bey's polished-yet-fun summer dress.

A Little Color

If you prefer more color in the summer, try this LBD with pops of red.

Classically Chic

It still shows some skin — just maybe not as much skin as Beyonce, so way more work or wedding appropriate.

A Little Extra Skin

This dress is both mini and strapless. If you're going to show skin, you might as well go for it.
