Sharon Stone Channeled Tinkerbell At Garden Gala

by Marc Cuenco

Even though she's hardly on the big screen these days, Sharon Stone still manages to get people talking about her unique fashion sense on the red carpet. In her latest headline-worthy ensemble, Sharon Stone wore feathered wings with a metallic dress at the Hotbed Benefit 2015 gala organized by the Drever Family Foundation. The actress co-hosted the Enchanted Garden-themed event along with your Instagram crush Joe Jonas.

Stone definitely went for the wow factor with her winged outfit designed by Traver Rains, co-founder of fashion label Heatherette. The actress shimmered in a low-cut, metallic silver top and sheer gold skirt with floral appliqués. Stone styled her hair in an simple up-do and wore minimal jewelry. The feathered wings added enough visual drama to an already intricate and on-theme look for the gala. Stone later changed into a minimalistic pink gown later in the evening while presenting onstage during the T. RAINS fashion show.

Most recently, Stone posed nude for Harper's Bazaar's September issue wearing nothing but fine jewelry and designer shoes. The actress also opened up about keeping up a certain image for someone who was widely regarded as a sex symbol at the peak of her career.

"I’m not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world," Stone said. "At a certain point you start asking yourself, ‘What really is sexy?’ It’s not just the elevation of your boobs. It’s being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that’s with you.”

Throughout her Hollywood career, Stone has maintained a confident and unwavering sense of style. Two of her most memorable Oscar gowns broke the rules of the red carpet, but inspired so many to mix high and low fashion.
