Kendall Prepares For Autumn With Leather Boots

There's no struggle quite like the struggle of getting dressed between seasons, and because the difference between summer and fall is so stark, this time of year is especially hard. But who better to get transitional style inspiration from than It-girl of the moment Kendall Jenner, who recently rocked knee-high boots.

Jenner stepped out for mom Kris Jenner's Haute Living cover event in a gorgeous ensemble that not only embraces the last of the summer heat but also calls for those pleasant fall days. She wore a simple, beige shirt dress that you can easily imagine beach-side, or paired with lace up flats for an afternoon of brunch or shopping at the farmer's market, AKA, a classic summer's day outfit. But the fall-factor comes into play with the leather accessories she paired with the shirt dress, including a classic leather jacket and a pair of fabulous, over-the-knee, peep-toe, leather boots.

I think it's safe to say that those boots are definitely a statement in this outfit. But you could also make that argument for the shirt dress and the leather jacket. Either way, the combination of these pieces is totally unexpected. You would never think that a classic, summer-y shirt dress would work so effortlessly with classicly autumunal pieces like over-the-knee boots and a leather jacket.
