Who Designed Amber Rose's VMAs Jumpsuit?

by Rosie Narasaki

Did you happen to catch Amber Rose and her squad slaying the red carpet at the VMAs? These Pink Lips designed Amber Rose's jumpsuit at the 2015 VMAs, and boy was it spectacular: She wowed the crowds with her graphic nude ensemble, which was decorated with brightly painted words like "Golddigger," "Whore," and "Slut," painted in bold neon shades. As Rose explained to Kelly Osbourne, "They call us sluts and whores all the time, so we just embrace it." The collaboration between the two makes a lot of sense: After all, These Pink Lips creator/designer Iris Barbee Bonner (a self-professed "Goal Digger") is one of the organizers behind Rose's kick-ass Slutwalk — and last night, Rose and Bonner brought their anti-slutshaming campaign to a larger stage.

The sheer levels of body positivity coming from so many different superstars in the industry were definitely one of the best parts of the VMAs — we saw everything from Britney Spears in her signature bodycon sequins to Nicki Minaj reaching Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" status in barely-there La Bourjoisie, to Miley Cyrus basically wearing a chandelier... but amidst all of the awesomeness, Rose may have been the best of all with her anti-slutshaming jumpsuit.
