Channel Moschino SS16 This Halloween

Only this designer could take something so everyday and make it couture. Jeremy Scott’s Moschino SS16 runway show had a construction theme, and you can recreate those runway moments for Halloween. What? I had to find some way to incorporate the Moschino feel into my wardrobe. And since I won’t be able to afford the real deal for quite some time, the only way I could get away with wearing this wacky clothing is for Halloween.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the clothing on the runway. But, let’s be honest — if not at a costume party (or, you know a red carpet event) when would wearing something like this ever be acceptable? It's not exactly office appropriate. So, I’m going to take full advantage of October 31st and rock some serious Moschino-inspired gear gear. Luckily, the whole construction couture theme is quite easy to pull off, too.

If you want to avoid coming off too cheesy or looking like every other construction worker costume, you’ve got to incorporate some more high-fashion elements. Because Moschino may be over the top, but it is never unoriginal. Check out some pieces that you can mix and match to get the perfect runway-themed costume. Halloween has never been so chic.
