Official Autopsy Reveals Car's Speed

Sad news in the case of Paul Walker's death: According to newly revealed documents posted online by TMZ, Paul Walker's autopsy states that he died when the car he was in crashed at speeds of 100 mph and burst into flames upon hitting a tree in Santa Clarita, Calif. It lists his cause of death officially as a "combination of extensive thermal injuries and multiple traumatic injuries," and states that his suffered "thermal burns with diffuse charring" while trapped in the burning car.

Walker died late last year, on Nov. 30, after taking a Porsche Carrera GT out for a spin with his friend Roger Rodas while they were both attending a charity event for his foundation, Reach Out WorldWide. Rodas was behind the wheel of the car when it spun out of control on an empty street, and hit a light pole then then a tree. A toxicology report specified that there was no alcohol or drugs in either Walker or Rodas' systems at the time of the crash.

According to TMZ, there was also evidence of "'scant soot in Walker's trachea' — suggesting he took a few breaths after impact." Oof. That is terribly sad.
