Bieber Takes "What Do You Mean?" To MTV EMAs

It's never been a better time to be a Belieber. Justin Bieber's comeback has been so hot that he was able to drop his new single "Sorry" this past week and have it hold its own against the meme-fulness of Drake's "Hotline Bling" AND Adele's own comeback single "Hello." To keep it going, Justin Bieber performed "What Do You Mean?" at the MTV European Music Awards on Sunday night in Milan, Italy, and it was pretty amazing. It's official: There's no stopping the Biebs. If this is any indication of things to come, his new album Purpose, due out on Nov. 13, is just going blow us all away.

Bieber wore a red shirt and red pants during his performance among dancers dressed all in white, so he certainly stood out on stage. The performance began with the Biebs dancing in a box made of light dots and kinda looked like the movie Tron. The light dots soon morphed into lines and then more colors. Soon, his backup dancers joined him as he strutted and danced on the stage through a tunnel of lights. The performance ended with — what else — fireworks. The audience, which was full of Bieber fans, went wild.

Bieber was up for many major awards on Sunday night, including Best Pop, Best Male, and Best Fans and has won Best Male and Best Worldwide Act: North America so far. "I don't take any of these moments for granted," he said as he accepted the Best Worldwide Act award after his performance.

The singer has certainly had his ups and downs, but 2015 marked an upswing in his career with his ubiquitous hit songs "Where R U Now" (with Skrillex and Diplo as Jack U), "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry." The Canadian singer's big comeback was made official with a very emotional and rocking performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Although his EMAs song was not as emotional, the performance just further solidified that nothing can stop the Biebs these days. And, who'd even want to? Rock on, Justin.
