The Best Looks From The 2015 CMAs

by Melanie Richtman

Even if you're not a country music fan, you can probably appreciate what goes on at the Country Music Awards, especially when it comes to the 2015 CMAs red carpet. In fact, the show has been so entertaining over the years, that it's starting to draw in performances from people who aren't exactly country singers, like Justin Timberlake and Fallout Boy, who both performed at this year's Country Music Awards. Like most award shows, the hosts make jokes at the expense of their famous friends, like the joke made about recently divorced couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. But most importantly, the CMAs are filled with best dressed celebrities.

While different award shows inspired different fashion choices, like how the MTV VMAs typically inspire celebs to dress outlandishly, whereas the Oscars encourage attendees to evoke an old Hollywood glamour, the CMAs are almost always attended by celebrities who are not afraid to standout by wearing bold colors and sequins. This year was no different. From Carrie Underwood's coral gown to Erika Christensen's bright blue dress, the CMAs best dressed were willing to have fun with color, a risk that definitely paid off.

Here are the best looks from the 2015 CMAs.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood looks stunning in this peplum gown. The coral color is absolutely perfect for her skin tone, too. This look is definitely a slam dunk for Underwood, even though her joke about Democrats was definitely not.

Miranda Lambert

Take that, Blake. Following the news that Blake Shelton is dating Gwen Stefani, Miranda Lambert showed up to the CMAs looking super hot in a black dress and newly pink hair.

Trisha Yearwood

A floor-length gown covered in sequins might overwhelm most people, but on Trisha Yearwood, it looks surprisingly classy.

Jennifer Nettles

This dress might be my favorite of the bunch. Nettles' pink dress somehow manages to look cool and sleek, even though it's a pale pink and incorporates sequins. Bravo.

Erika Christensen

Erika Christensen looks like royalty, as in she told a play from Princess Kate's playbook and went with a gorgeous royal blue dress for the CMAs red carpet.

Hannah Davis

It's pretty easy to look fabulous when you're a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, but Hannah Davis didn't take the easy route. Her flowy dress makes her look like a goddess.

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini looked super pretty in this dress, but more importantly, she brought one of her fans who has cancer as her guest, so her heart is really what sets her apart from the rest.

Karen Fairchild

Nothing like a sheer dress to get you put on the best dressed list! Fairchild's nude frock definitely caught our attention!

Kimberly Perry

Kimberly Perry was a total smoke show when she showed up to the CMAs in a sexy asymmetrical black dress with thigh high slit. Her smokey eye and sleek hair only amplified her look.
