Someone Made A Life-Size Cake Of Prince George

by Kat George

Your creepiest thing of the day is this life size Prince George cake, which is an exact, edible replica of the royal bub. Artist and baker Lara Mason made the semi-terrifying Chucky-esque cake version of baby George, and the whole thing took her 30 hours to create. That's a lot of time to dedicate to making a cake that's making people like me feel very, very uncomfortable. I mean, where even would you start eating it? The face? An appendage? And do you really want to eat Prince George? Even if he is made out of potentially delicious cake?

The cake was made for the Cake International in Birmingham, UK in honor of the little prince. Standing three feet tall, that's a lot of cake — although you know what? I'm up for the eating challenge. And the more I think about it, the more I'm staring at the face. I don't want those vacant, glassy eyes staring at me while I devour the tiny body. Meanwhile, is it some kind of treason to eat the image of England's royalty? I imagine it's not totally above board to do so. What do you think? Creepy or delectable? Is your mouth watering just looking at this cake?
