Your 2014 Golden Globes Superlatives

by Alicia Lutes

As quick as it came, the 2014 Golden Globes have gone, leaving in their wake a cavalcade of crazy, some seriously messed-up traffic in Beverly Hills, and a celebrity-induced hangover worse than what those attendees will be feeling in the morning. Moet Chandon aside, the most fun awards show of the season did not disappoint — mostly due to the brilliant helming of hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, whose deft handling of the 3-hour ceremonial beast was so effective and efficient it did the unthinkable: it ran UNDER by a whole minute. (Eat your heart out, Oscars.)

But while there were many a winner — including Poehler (finally!), her fellow Saturday Night Live alums, to the Wolf of Wall Street himself, Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio — there were also many a loser. But for every snub (cough cough Tatiana Maslany) there was an equally as awardworthy antic or funny quip (from the red carpet to the show itself), ensuring that though not everyone walked away with a trophy, there was hardly anyone who went home not a winner.

In 2014, where TV obsessives are here to GIF the ever-loving shit out of every momentary glance, nod, or slur, we've compiled our favorites here tonight to show you the superlative moments of the 2014 Golden Globes. Because you've earned it, celebrities: I mean, you all don't get enough accolades as it is.

Fiercest Pregnant Marvel Supervillaness: Olivia Wilde

Least Likely to Be Invited to Taylor Swift's Afterparty: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

Brooklyn Award for General Brooklyness: Alex Ebert (who is too hip to be GIFed, apparently)

Most Likely to Go Home and Cry Into His Pillow For Being Left Kissless at the Dance: Diddy

Tam Honksiest: Tam Honks

Most Dangerous: Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Creepiest Recreation of the Scene in The Little Mermaid Where Ariel Stands Up For The First Time: Jennifer Lawrence

Son of Samiest: Randy Fey

Least Fucks Given: Emma Thompson

And that's all there was, folks! Tune in next time there's an awards show on, so we can all laugh and gawk at ridiculous celebrity hijinks in GIF form. It's what the Internet is for, after all.
