It's the most wonderful time of the year for most people, but not for Empire fans, as the hit TV series is on hiatus until March (yes, March!). To Fox's credit, the network is airing Taraji & Terrence's White Hot Holidays — hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard — on Wednesday night to get us all through Empire withdrawal. But you may also be wondering if you can download or stream the songs and performances from Taraji & Terrence's White Hot Holidays to keep you occupied until March.
While there's no official word about that, I'd say it's very likely we'll all be able to enjoy the Christmas special over and over on YouTube, since Fox regularly posts Empire clips and songs on its YouTube channel, which also includes the Taraji & Terrence promo. The same can be said of the FOX website, so that's another good place to check for performance clips after Wednesday night. And while there hasn't been any word of an official soundtrack, if any songs are released as just audio, they'd likely be available on Spotify, since the music of Empire can be streamed there. Basically, cross your fingers and check YouTube, FOX, and Spotify Thursday morning for the best chance of reliving these holiday performances all year long.
The extravaganza was taped last weekend in Los Angeles and, judging by the press photos, it looks like it's going to be a blast. Howard and Henson will give their explosive chemistry (on-screen and off) some Christmas spirit with the help of guests will.i.am, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Jamie Foxx, and Chris Brown, along with Empire co-stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray. It should be a night to remember — and hopefully, make viewers forget that the next new episode of Empire will be in March.

With Smollett and Gray in attendance, it should be one epic Empire reunion — but you know, with more singing and less drama, because it's real life.
Taraji & Terrence Do Comedy
From the looks of this photo from the special, Henson and Howard are going to be doing skits and bringing the funny in addition to their usual awesome banter. Best news ever. Is Terrence going to read a young Taraji a bed time story? Are they investigating Santa's location? For right now, it's a mystery.
Santa!
It looks like an elf will be visiting Henson and Howard, but how about Jolly Old St. Nick himself? It could be a lot of fun to see if the hosts are on Santa's nice list.
A Chrissy Teigen Appearance
Wherever Legend sings, his awesome wife Teigen is usually there watching. I mean, the camera definitely cut to her as Legend performed during Frank Sinatra 100 last weekend. I kinda hope she gets in on the fun during Taraji & Terrence, and with more than just a funny cry face.
So Much Fun
No matter what happens during this special, I hope Henson and Howard make it a ton of fun for themselves, along with the audience. Check out the photo above — People thinks the duo is channeling Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in a skit. I can't wait to see that in action.
A Puppy
Because this picture. The only thing better than a holiday special with a puppy is a holiday special starring Henson and Howard with a puppy. Thank you, FOX.
