Anna Faris Rocks Unconventional Formalwear

When you think of swanky red carpet events, images of beautiful gowns, stylish minidresses, and overall glamour come to mind. That's why it's always a bit unexpected when celebrities break traditional rules and opt for something other than a lavish dress on the carpet. Anna Faris wore a festive romper to the Mashable Shop powered by Visa Checkout event in New York City on Tuesday, and the unique onesie served as a fresh upgrade to the typical party dress.

The 39-year-old stepped out in a long-sleeve, ultra short jumpsuit that flaunted a whole lot of leg. The pretty garment featured intricate black embellishment laid atop a white base, almost emanating a type of lace look. She paired the statement piece with sheer black tights, black pointed pumps, and a pair of tiny studs. The overall monochrome ensemble perfectly integrated edgy rock & roll vibes with a polished style.

The actress' hair and makeup kept with the edgy theme, too. Her platinum blonde locks were styled in a low-key ponytail, and her makeup look consisted of a heavy smoky eye with loads of dark shadow, and a pale peach lip. One of her best looks yet, that's for sure.

Faris knowns what she is doing in the fashion department. She consistently brings her A-game with stylish and unique looks, and she isn't afraid to break fashion rules.
