Daisy Ridley Keeps Her Personal Life Under Wraps

Growing up with a Star Wars obsessed brother, I pretty much had no choice but to be a fan, and years later, I am happy that I am. The Star Wars mania is reaching an all time high now that we are on the eve of the release of The Force Awakens, and at the center of the storm are its two young and relatively unknown protagonists: John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, who play Finn and Rey, respectively. Being that we will be seeing these faces for many years to come, it's only natural that we get a little curious about their lives. For instance, who is Daisy Ridley dating?

When I first heard of Boyega's and Ridley's casting, I remember first being insanely jealous that these mostly unknown actors would have their first major acting break as leads in a STAR WARS movie. Like, how much more epic can your career get? But my jealousy quickly turned to admiration as they have both shown themselves to be incredible grateful and humbled by this experience. This past year has been a whirlwind for Ridley, with traveling the globe for press and appearing on covers of fashion magazines, so in the midst of all this, could it be possible Ridley also has a boyfriend?

It seems like the actress has a very strong support system while she experiences this skyrocketing to fame in the form of her boyfriend, Charlie Hamblett. Back when the cast list for Star Wars: Episode VII was released last year, the Daily Mail reported that Ridley was dating "public school-educated actor Charles Hamblett." Hamblett himself is an English actor, and it seems like he is also up-and-coming, with only one completed role on his IMDb and two projects currently filming. He is also not very active on his Twitter account, only recently posting a photo from the set of one of his jobs on a BBC film.

There is not a lot of information at all about Hamblett or his relationship with the 23-year-old actress, but nearly a year ago, the two were photographed at a New Year's Eve party, which is one of the few reports of them being spotted out together. Some fans also noticed Hamblett possibly hanging out with Ridley's co-star Boyega at the BAFTAs:

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, the writer noticed that Ridley is rumored to be "engaged to actor boyfriend Charlie Hamblett;" although she has offered no confirmation.

Being that Ridley is starring in one of the biggest films on the planet, I am happy that she has a support system that has been with her before all the madness started.
