Relax, Kylie Jenner Doesn't Contour Her Ears, Guys

by Augusta Statz

As we all know, the Kardashians are not shy about sharing their beauty methods, especially when it comes to contouring. And when the youngest of the sisters posted a makeup tutorial to her app, the Internet went crazy at the thought of her contouring her ears. Well, Kylie Jenner responded to those ear contour rumors via Twitter, writing that she does not contour her ears. As if that was even a thing. Seriously, come on you guys.

What seems to have gotten folks a little carried away is the suggestion that you should cover your ears in foundation and powder to have them match your skin tone, and honestly I don’t think that’s a bad idea. It may not be as practical for everyday use, but if you’re going major glam like many of the Kardashians and Jenners do for red carpets and more, making sure your ears match your face is a good idea. Because you never know what angle your picture may be taken from or what a camera flash is going to point out, you know?

There’s a big difference between blending your face, ears and neck to ensure they’re all the same color and actually contouring, which is exactly what Jenner’s taken to Twitter to point out. I suppose crazier things have happened, but rest assured, Jenner doesn’t contour her ears. That is all.

This is a clip from the tutorial that first sparked the rumors.

And this is how Jenner is settling the matter, once and for all.

In an instance like this one, it'd be wise to make sure your face, neck and ears were evenly matched.

Because when you're a Jenner, there's always a camera around.

Even when she does her own makeup, everything is perfectly blended.

So, there you have it. Jenner's not contouring her ears, she's just a lady with an even complexion. How could you have thought otherwise?
