Thursday was a sad day in entertainment when it was announced that iconic singer Prince had died at the age of 57. His death took fans by surprise and definitely sent a shock around the world. Soon after Prince's death, his reps released the following statement to Bustle: "It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57."
