How To Look Cute & Feel Comfy At A BBQ

by Jessica Willingham

Summer is just around the corner! You know what that means: road trips with friends, lazy afternoons in the sun, and plenty of patio happy hours after work. Another certainty: you'll attend a BBQ or two (or seven) whether it's a family get-together or a casual celebration with friends, on the beach or in a backyard, which might leave you wondering what to wear to a BBQ. I've got you covered!

BBQs sound like a great time until you're sweating through your uncomfortable clothes. Don't let that be you this summer! I love wearing lightweight, breathable fabrics that still look put together when attending a BBQ. After all, BBQs are typically where you reunite with family and friends after many months apart, meet your boo's family, or celebrate important events like weddings, new babies, promotions, housewarmings, and other important milestones. You want to look look good and feel great, no matter how high the humidity is or how much food you eat.

Looking pretty, casual, and comfortable in an effortless way is what it's all about. Below are some of my favorite pieces for summer gatherings and celebrations. Go simple with just one flowy piece, or layer light pieces together for a more unique, but still wearable look.
