Maybelline Has Your Metallic Smokey Eye Covered

Guys, I'm pretty sure I was just introduced to my new (and future) favorite drugstore makeup product. Maybelline's Eye Studio range is bangin' AF. I especially and specifically love the collection's Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner. Oh, and my makeup artist friend swears by the Color Tattoo 24 Hr Cream Gel Shadow Pots, which are super saturated, easy to apply with a finger, and come in metal and leather finishes. But Color Tattoo Eye Chrome shadows are on the horizon and I am shaking and crying with excitement and anticipation. That metallic, chrome finish is so on trend. Anne-Marie Guarnieri, beauty director at Harper's Bazaar, shared back-of-hand swatches of the shimmery, sparkly, and smoky shades, and I instantly and without question fell in love.

When will Color Tattoo Eye Chrome shadows, which appear packaged in tube form with a wand applicator, be available?

We don't have to wait long at all! According to Guarnieri's post, the shadows will be available in July. She got the advance sneak peek and enthused about the "mega-metallic" nature of the formula. She also revealed that there are more than 10 shades and that the product does not budge.

Since I can never get my hands on enough iterations of black shadows and liners, I had to fan my face with my hands to calm down upon seeing these swatches.

Ready for a look?

OMG! I am going to want to do metallic smoky eyes and layer these babies all day, every day. Maybelline, you've outdone yourself. I cannot stop looking at these super pigmented, chromed out shades. You can never have too much chrome in your life, like Jeffree Star's pink brushes.

BTW, Color Tattoo also comes in a crayon formulation. Based on the Guarnieri swatches alone, I already think the Color Tattoo Eye Chromes are > than all. I hope Maybelline model Gigi Hadid rocks these in advertising.

Ack! I am going to have to try and find a way to relax until July. OK, bye.
