See King Kylie's First Billboard Music Awards Look

It wasn't too long ago that Kylie Jenner's first Billboard Music Awards red carpet appearance came into our lives. In fact, it was only 2014. But the Jenner of two years ago seems like a totally different Jenner to the one we have today. She was a Kylie Jenner who hadn't yet admitted to having lip fillers; a Kylie Jenner who refused to dye her signature blue bob brown for sister Kim K's wedding.

For all intents and purposes, King Kylie, before she was King Kylie, was quite a different sartorial presence than the woman we see on our Instagram feeds on the daily in 2016.

So what did a baby-faced, 16-year-old Jenner wear to her first Billboard Music Awards? A nude lip, sure. But not a Kylie Lip Kit color, obviously. Paired with the bright blue hair that made everyone pay attention to the youngest Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, she sported a simple white strappy dress with white strappy shoes — both with just the smallest hint of lace. Not to mention silver accessories, because what's an outfit without some jewels? Particularly when the jewels are as cute, and almost punk, as the silver choker that Jenner rocked for the night.

Matching in monochrome loveliness with her sister Kendall, the Jenners arguably made twinning a trend after Kylie's first Billboard Music Awards look. The pair was even at it again with matching Balmain outfits at the 2015 BMAs. Even though their first Billboard event presenting some unfortunate booing directed at the Jenner sisters, they still managed to slay and slay some more. And then they did it again the year thereafter.

Looking at Kylie's first Billboard look, however, is a reminder of the many style transformations she's been through since. Whether discovering contouring or sporting longer hair, it's obvious that something changed in Jenner's glam squad between the two red carpet appearances. In both looks, however, the reality star looked undeniably stunning.

Time will soon tell what the beauty mogul has in store for us this year. Will it be short hair, long hair, or maybe even a signature Kylie Jenner wig? White or black, Balmain or otherwise, I'm sure that King Kylie will be pulling out all the stops to make this year's Billboard Music Awards' look one to remember. After all, this is Kylie Jenner we're talking about.
