Tinder For Threesomes?

by Nathalie O'Neill

If you're getting tired of Tinder, I've got great news for you. 3nder (pronounced threen-der) is a new dating app that will facilitate that threesome you've presumably always dreamed about. The tagline, "Threesomes made easy," pretty much says it all.

3nder, which is still in its funding stage, is designed for couples and singles. The app, designed by London-based entrepreneur Dimo Trifonov, lets you easily hide your profile from friends and family so you can browse freely. Like other dating apps, 3nder has you set up a profile where you can give information about yourself and what kind of relationship you're looking for.

3nder is geared toward "all swingers newbies, curious and experienced" who "are all discriminated by society the same way gay people were 15 years ago."

The app also claims to have a more hard-hitting social mission. 3nder, according to the app's website, is geared toward "all swingers newbies, curious and experienced" who "are all discriminated by society the same way gay people were 15 years ago." Really? Are people who want threesomes as maligned as gay people once were?

While the app is still in its funding stage, the people behind 3nder should really work on figuring out a better name, since most people seem to be pretty confused when it comes to proper pronunciation. And besides, when did a good old Craigslist ad stop being a decent way to find some threesome buddies?
