Danielle Brooks' Look At The 2016 Tony Awards

Theater and Orange Is the New Black lovers rejoice! Danielle Brooks arrived at the 2016 Tony Awards and she looks ah-mazing! The star attended in a navy blue, floor-length silk gown. She accessorized it with gold heels, several sparkly rings, and blinged-out nails that perfectly matched her dress. She tied it all together with hair worn loose around her shoulders and beautiful pink and purple makeup hues.

Known by many for playing Taystee in the hit Netflix show OITNB (currently in its 4th season), a lot of fans might not realize that Brooks recently made her debut in the theater world playing Sofia in the 2015 Broadway production of The Color Purple. Brooks received rave reviews for her performance, all while fitting it in between filming her TV show (which is no easy feat).

And while the characters she plays generally don't get the luxury of dressing up, Brooks more than makes up for it with her award show ensembles. She often attends events in bright, bold floor-length gowns that prove she's more than comfortable on a red carpet. And tonight's elegant ensemble proves no exception.

Whether she wins or loses, she scored a total style home run tonight.
