Use Glossier's Moon Mask This Way

Sometimes, the tiniest and easiest tips make all the difference and help you get the most out of your beauty products. Glossier's super hydrating Moisturizing Moon Mask is comprised of sweet almond oil and hyaluronic acid, as well as licorice root, lemon fruit, honey, and aloe. The ingredients list sounds delish, but the product plumps, hydrates, smoothes, and more. It is a rich and creamy dream for your face, that's for sure. But Glossier offered a quick, easy, and utterly brilliant tip on its Instagram, suggesting a way to use the Moisturizing Moon Mask that you probably never thought of.

So what is this ingenious tip? Seriously, it's so simple but smart that you will be like, "Why didn't I think of that already?"

Glossier, which is a skin-obsessed brand, suggests popping the Moisturizing Moon Mask in the fridge for a few and then slathering it on skin after you've been out playing in the sun. The dose of cool cream will soothe sun-kissed skin and rehydrate pores.

That sounds absolutely divine, doesn't it? Post-sun skin is often stressed, dry, and generally not at its best. But a dollop of cool, mega moisturizing cream will get it back to where it needs to be. IMO, the cream shouldn't be too cold, because that can "shock" the skin. It should be cool and refreshing to the touch but as cold as you prefer it.

Observe the Glossier Insta tip below.

This suggestion can be applied to most moisturizers, really. I just popped a jar of one of my fave body butters in my fridge so I can try this tip later after I get back from running errands.

It's a little dollop of heaven and a miraculous moisturizer. It gets a total boost when cooled.
