Everyone knows that Lea Michele starred on Glee. Everyone knows she has killer pipes. A lot of folks even know that she's the secret ingredient to Scream Queens' success, too. But what Lea Michele at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards is reminding us of is that she's a total style maven as well. Michele showed up on the blue carpet of the Jul. 31 ceremony no doubt to celebrate her nominations for Choice TV Actress In A Comedy and Choice TV Villain In A Comedy — both for her role in Scream Queens, of course — but as for me, well, it's her crop top that I can't keep my eyes off.
One might think that the crop top is starting to make a departure from the fashion and beauty repertoire. I mean, it's been around for years now, and there are only so many midriffs we can bare, right? Wrong.
Michele is proving that there's no point in retiring a trend young. Sometimes, all you have to do to give it a "fresh" feel is, well, update it a little bit. Like, in the form of a bralette crop top.
A little tighter to the body, a little more underwear-like, and a whole lot of cute, Michele is keeping the crop top alive. And I couldn't be more pleased.
Plus, the skirt she combined it with is festival chic at its finest.
I'm calling this look a win — 100 percent.
