JoJo's Finale Dress Features A Hint Of Sparkle

by Teresa Newsome

It's a really right race in my life between my love of sappy romance and my love of glitter, so when finale time rolled around for The Bachelorette, I was really hoping to see a lot of both in the form of JoJo's Bachelorette finale gown. As you can probably guess, I was not disappointed. While JoJo Fletcher's floor-length Badgley Mischka Web Lace Silk Runway Evening Gown wasn't head-to-toe sparkle, it's gold-threaded bodice and blingy belt totally made all my The Bachelorette fashion dreams come true. There's romance and sparkle enough for me, and that's in the dress alone. No need to bring on the bachelors! J/K.

Anyway, this gown is basically everything. In some turn of fashion witchcraft and wizardry, it's both soft/innocent and dramatic at the same time. At first glance, it's light, flowing skirt looks like a wedding gown for a stunning woodland fairy wedding (consciously or unconsciously? You decide!). But once she starts walking, you see that the dress is split from the floor to the gods, almost as if it's foreshadowing the drama that's about to ensue. It's deep plunging v-neck is a little more revealing than the finale gowns of Bachelorettes in the past, but the fit of the dress and the way she carries herself is all class.

Plus did I mention the whole top of the gown is a web of gold lace? Werk those sparkles, JoJo. Werk.

JoJo knows her body and it shows in this dress, which, naturally, fits her like a glove.

So soft and elegant from this angle, but don't be fooled... here comes the drama:

BAM!

I mean, it's really hard to top an entrance that involves riding in on a unicorn, but if any dress had a chance, it's this one.

Here you can get a glimpse of her shoes, but I don't really think she even needs them.

I had no doubts in my mind that JoJo would look fabulous. Let's hope her wedding dress is just as perfect.
