Kylie Jenner just announced a new collection, slated to arrive just in time for her 19th birthday. It's quite the epic product release, and it happens to include a collection of miniature versions of her ever-popular matte liquid lipsticks. So, is the Kylie Cosmetics Mini Matte Lipstick Set worth it?
Well, in a word, yes. First off: It's mini, full-stop. No matter what their other merits happen to be, there's no denying the fact that mini makeup sets have a definite cute factor — sometimes, they can even be worth buying for cute factor alone. Now, that's not to say that's all the new Mini Matte Lipstick Set have going for them — in addition to their adorability factor, they also happen to be gorgeous. The set includes some of Kylie's most popular shades, so it's a great way to own all of your favorites in one fell swoop, especially if you missed out on some of them the first time they were available.
The set includes six different shades: Dolce, Exposed, Candy, Koko, Kristen as well as the ultra-bold deep maroon Leo, AKA the newest addition to the Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipstick family. If you already have some of the colors, it might be worth it for the mini Leo alone (though you can also purchase a full-size Leo, if that's the case).
The entire Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Collection is full of must-haves, from the two next-level cream eyeshadows, to the rose gold Poppin lip gloss — and the teeny tiny matte lipsticks might just be the best of all.
At $36 for six minis, it actually ends up being pretty affordable — and if you really want to go all out, you can own the entire collection for $195. It's a lot, but if you're a big Kylie fan, you might want to consider it — after all, the new collection is limited, and will only be available from August 2 until Kylie's 19th birthday on August 10.
What do you think? Will you be jumping in virtual line? Despite the rapid-fire sell-out of her first Kyliner palette, Kylie promises that she's got enough Birthday Collection products to last the 9 days they're on sale — but I'd still jump on it fast, just in case.
