Ready For Kat Von D x Too Faced Collab Details?

After an eternity of teases, it's finally happening! By "it's," I mean Kat Von D Beauty and Too Faced are finally revealing details about their collab. For months, both Kat Von D and Too Faced co-founder Jerrod Blandino have been posting hints about their long-gestating partnership in the form of photos of products, of their actual meetings, and of their promo shoots. Their social media actions have left fans of both brands to simply feast on crumbs of information and to eagerly anticipate this mashup. Since KVD Beauty is super goth, edgy, rock 'n' roll, and blackened with its aesthetic and since Too Faced is good-girl-gone-not-so-good and pretty in pink with its imaging, there's no telling what or how this cosmetic collision will shake out.

The only thing I can say with unwavering confidence is that it's going to be amazeballs.

Both Von D and Blandino posted another clue about their Better Together collection. This time, it's a blurry shot of what could be products. Is that a black eyeliner pen from a pink box and a half-pink, half-black heart-shaped compact? OMFG, the Kat Von D x Too Faced mashup is going to own my life. I have already accepted that cold, hard makeup fact.

But I am wondering if the collab will be Kat Von D packaging filled with Too Faced products and vice versa. Or is it all new products and designs? We don't know, but we will soon.

In her personal Instagram post, the celeb tattoo artist confirmed that more details will be revealed on Tuesday, August 9 at 12 p.m. Too Faced will share the first look at the Better Together Collection. All of the feels right now. All. Of. The Feels.

Here is one of their first hints.

Opposites attract!

We will finally get to see the result of this sort of meeting.

Judging from that blurry image, I am excited about what this mashup represents. Kat Von D Beauty and Too Faced are dissimilar in so many ways. I love when the beauty world makes a concerted effort to embrace differences and to come together to create something wholly unique In an industry that can be exclusionary, Kat Von D and Jerrod Blandino are seeking unify, rather than divide.
