Elizabeth & James Drops New Nirvana Fragrances

If you are a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsens' fashion and beauty brand, Elizabeth and James, then you are definitely familiar with the label's Nirvana fragrance collection. What started out as a fashion company eventually led to expansion into the world of beauty, and there is no doubt that the sisters are slaying that department, too. You may now be wondering — what are the new Elizabeth and James Nirvana fragrances? Here is the 411.

The actresses-turned-designers first broke out into the fragrance industry back in 2013 with the launch of Nirvana Black, a sultry blend of violet, sandalwood, and vanilla, and Nirvana White, a light and fresh mix of peony, muguet, and soft musk. The two scents launched exclusively at Sephora.com, and quickly skyrocketed to popularity, so it only makes sense the brand would extend the fragrance collection.

Elizabeth and James is releasing two brand new scents titled Nirvana Rose and Nirvana Bourbon. The former is an alluring floral fragrance that represents the "heart of a dark rose," according to a press release. It is comprised of geranium, rose de mai and vetiver. Nirvana Bourbon, on the other hand, is a sensual blend of vanilla bourbon notes, oakwood, and subtle tuberose.

“Ashley and I believe everyone’s nirvana is different, so we created Nirvana Rose and Nirvana Bourbon to explore a more sensual and also playful side of Nirvana,” Mary-Kate Olsen said in the press release.

These two new launches definitely seem to delve deeper into more sexy and sensual types of scents, giving their fans a bigger range of fragrance to choose from.

The new packaging is consistent with that of the previous Nirvana scents, but incorporates gorgeous color inspired by each of the fragrances. Just think about how pretty these would look on your vanity.
