How To Stream The 2016 VMA Red Carpet

by May Sofi

The MTV Video Music Awards is arguably one of the most exciting award shows to watch. Why? Because anything goes, really. From eye-popping moments like Britney Spears and Madonna's lip-lock in 2003, to awkward celebrity run-ins like Kanye West and Taylor Swift's on-stage altercation in 2009, the VMAs are totally unpredictable. Perhaps the most highly-anticipated part, though, is the pre-show red carpet, where starts first flaunt their daring fashion looks. If you are now wondering how to stream the 2016 VMAs Red Carpet, here is the 411.

This year's VMAs are set to air on Sunday Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. ET, which means that red carpet coverage will begin streaming at 7 p.m. on MTV.com, according to Billboard. Unlike the Grammys or the Academy Awards, which call for floor-length gowns and black-tie ensembles, VMA fashion is all about F-U-N. Last year, Miley Cyrus basically went naked, and Taylor Swift actually wore pants for like the first time ever. Trust me when I say, you are not going to want to miss all the racy red-carpet fashion this year will bring.

So, how can you stream the live event? You have some options. Elite Daily will be streaming all the action on their Facebook.

Additionally, you can download the MTV app which will cover the red carpet pre-show as well as the full live awards.
