The Cast Of 'Daredevil Didn't Make It To The Emmys

The cast of Netflix and Marvel's hit show Daredevil was too busy fighting crime (or too busy watching the ceremony from the comfort their couches with big buckets of popcorn and their significant others) to make it to the 2016 Emmy Awards. While we can't blame them for wanting to stay home and hang out from for a few hours on Sunday night, fans were all definitely disappointed to discover that the Daredevil cast decided to skip the 68th annual Emmy red carpet and ceremony .

A lot of people felt like the Daredevil cast was snubbed in nominations — the series received nods for its sound editing and stunt coordination, but the acting, writing and directing were notably overlooked.

Since there was a lot of speculation that the show was snubbed, I wasn't totally surprised to see that the cast decided to skip out on the ceremony. Nevertheless, I still would have loved to see what some of the show's stars decided to walk the carpet in. Deborah Ann Woll always brings her A-Game in classic cut pieces, while Rosario Dawson is known to be an awards show fashion risk taker. And Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, is fierce in absolutely everything she does, so I, personally, would have loved to see how she turned up at her first Emmy awards.

I can imagine Woll strutting her stuff in something understated and elegant, like this dress she wore to the Captain America premier.

Wouldn't you have just loved to see Dawson straight-up #slay in a jumpsuit like this one?

And can't you picture Yung showing up and bringing some much-needed sass to the otherwise kind of.... meh red carpet?

Whatever the reason behind the cast's decision to skip the show, one thing is for sure: We can't wait for Season 3 to premier on Netflix next year.
