Kim Kardashian's Stolen Items Are Worth A Lot

Whether you're a fan of Kim Kardashian or not, it's undeniably terrifying to be robbed at gunpoint, as the reality star was in Paris early Monday morning, according to her spokeswoman, who also stated that Kardashian was "badly shaken but physically unharmed." Many reports claim that the monetary value of what was taken is easily in the millions of dollars, but exactly what was stolen from Kim Kardashian in Paris?

There has understandably been no statement from Kardashian herself yet, but, according to People, police claim the masked men stole over $10 million in jewelry alone: a jewelry box worth $6.7 million, and a ring worth between $4 million and $4.5 million, depending on the source. According to the BBC, a police source stated, "The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewelry. The total amount is still being evaluated."

The pair of thieves also reportedly made off with her purse, two cell phones, and 1,000 euros, after holding Kardashian at gunpoint, and then allegedly locking her in the bathroom, bound and gagged. Again, there has been no confirmation on the specific pieces taken, but The Daily Mail speculates that the $4 million ring referenced by Paris police could allegedly be a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring designed for Kardashian by Kanye West as a second engagement ring. It closely resembles the ring West had used to propose to Kardashian in 2013, and she had been seen wearing it throughout her visit to Paris.

During the day on Sunday, Kardashian wore the piece to the Alaia showroom, which she visited with her sister Kourtney Kardashian. The 35 year old also appeared to be sporting the ring in the last Snapchat video she posted, hours before the robbery, as she Facetimed her way into her future sister-in-law Blac Chyna's baby shower.

In addition to being a traumatic incident causing a tremendous monetary loss, these items also have a sentimental value that can't be calculated. Here's hoping that the pieces are returned to Kim Kardashian as soon as possible, and that the people who stole them are punished appropriately.
