The Hotel Kim K Was Staying At In Paris

by Lia Beck

One of the most recognizable women in the world was part of a terrifying incident on Sunday night: Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room. Kardashian was in the city for fashion week and had recently watched her little sister Kendall Jenner walk in the Givenchy show, but back in her hotel room she was faced with a life threatening situation. Now that we know Kardashian is OK, it's only natural that fans would be interested in details surrounding the robbery in an attempt to figure out exactly what was going on. And this includes what hotel Kim Kardashian was staying in when she was robbed?

According to the New York Times, Kardashian was staying at the Hôtel de Pourtalès, which is in the 8th arrondissement in Paris. The Hollywood Reporter has additional details on the hotel itself, which it reports is known locally as the "No Address Hotel." THR also reports that the hotel is a popular spot for megastars who are seeking a more private stay in Paris. Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, and Prince are among the celebs who have stayed there. Reportedly, Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, have stayed in the hotel before and like to rent the penthouse, which costs a hefty $16,900 per night.

While most reports refer to the accommodation as a hotel, Page Six is claims that while the location was the Hôtel de Pourtalès, West actually owns an apartment in the building.

Regarding the robbery, Kardashian's rep released the following statement to Bustle:

Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.
