Kylie Jenner's Skull Makeup Is Easy To Recreate

by Kali Borovic

If you haven't already nailed down your costume, then allow this celebrity to inspire you. Kylie Jenner's Halloween skull makeup was on-point for her holiday party, and it turns out that it's pretty easy to recreate too. Skull makeup tutorials are everywhere this year, but Jenner gave hers a trendy twist. Believe it or not, you probably already have everything you need already in your makeup bag.

Jenner never holds back when it comes to her makeup game, so of course this year's festive look was no different. According to her Snapchat, she threw a dead dinner party for her friends for the spooky holiday. She came dressed as a pretty fierce looking skull with chiseled cheek bones and a gorgeous floor-length gown. It was simple, but completely trendy all at the same time.

There are tons of different skull tutorials floating around, but what made Jenner's different was the contour. She used negative space to show her own skin color and filled it in with a dark shadow for a totally new take on contour. All you'll need is a light foundation or white paint, black eyeshadow, and a red lipstick to recreate it for yourself. Here's a close-up look at the finished product.

It doesn't get much easier than this. Most of the skull tutorials out there show you how to shade every part of the face, but this look keeps it simple. Whether you're a makeup beginner or a seasoned pro, you could easily pull this look off. You could even make it a couples costume like Jenner and Tyga did.

If you're a little nervous to try your hand at the look, then you're in luck. There are tons of different tutorials out there to show you how to recreate the look. Here are some of the best ones out there to inspire you.
