Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna & Kanye Sued By Prisoner, Plus 7 Other Ridiculous Celeb Lawsuits

For every perk that accompanies the celebrity life, there appear to be twice as many reasons why being famous really sucks. There's no privacy, all your embarrassing moments are caught on tape (and rehashed until the end of time), stalkers and oh yeah, people love to sue you, like this California prisoner who for some reason claims Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kanye West and Chris Brown owe him $2 billion for stealing his song lyrics. Unfortunately, he joins a list of 7 other ridiculous celebrity lawsuits:

Kim Kardashian

We wished comedian Rob Delaney’s $18 million lawsuit against Kim Kardashian was a joke, but sadly it wasn’t. Proving that he had not one humorous bone in his body, the hoopla surrounding Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Humphries pissed off Delaney so bad, he vowed to file a suit against Kardashian, and all entities connected to the production of the show.

Puff Daddy

Back when he was still Diddy, a woman named Valerie Turks claimed he fathered her child, stole an extremely valuable casino chip and had a hand in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which in her mind justified filing a $1 trillion lawsuit.

Ashley Greene

After “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene lost one of her dogs in an apartment fire that was later deemed an accident, she didn’t have much time to grieve properly given the fact that her doorman sued her for injuries he sustained while trying to evacuate the building.

Jay Leno

“Oh, rats,” says the person who finds themselves on the receiving end of trouble– or in Jay Leno’s case, a lawsuit. American Airlines flight attendant Louann Giambattista sued Leno last year for a mocking allegations made by her colleagues, who claimed she hid rats in her underwear. Her suit also blamed Leno’s jokes for putting a major damper on her sex life.

Nas

In what almost became the most costly no-show ever, Nas faced a $10 million lawsuit filed by a concert promoter who claimed he and his son were kidnapped, assaulted and threatened for 50 days all because the rapper bailed on a performance.

Charlie Sheen

Although Sheen’s character on the hit show Two and a Half Men has a way with women, the actor found himself in a bit of a chick-related jam in 2007 when a woman from his past sued him for her supposed unflattering depiction as the show’s stalker type character Rose. Sheen’s lawyer dismissed the woman’s claims, pointing out the fact that Sheen was an actor and not one of the show’s script writers.

Justin Bieber

“Baby, Baby, Baby, nooooo…” is probably what Justin Bieber was singing back in 2011, when 20-year-old Mariah Yeater worked overtime to convince everyone the 17-year-old singer was indeed the father of her son. The outcome of this case left two people sorely disappointed: Yeater, who eventually dropped the case altogether, and Maury Povich, who failed to book Bieber for his show.
