The Three Sides of Emily Blunt's Stunning Style

by Mary Avant

Call them gorgeous. Call them talented. Call them ridiculously fortunate. Whatever you call your favorite Hollywood celebrities, you can also add “superhuman” to the mix. At least, that seems to be the case with British beauty Emily Blunt. The actress — who recently gave birth to her first child with hubby, The Office actor, John Krasinski — has been showing off her super hero–level strength and energy (and, might I add, style) over the last several days as she jets around the world with (once-dissed) co-star Tom Cruise to premiere her latest flick Edge of Tomorrow in London, Paris, and New York, all in the span of 24 hours. (I told you, superhuman.)

And did I mention that she looked impossibly gorgeous at not one, but all three of the premieres? Oh, and then there’s the fact that she showed off a completely different — but still amazing — side of her style personality at each event. Seriously, she may be my new favorite person.

Kicking off the whirlwind promo tour in London on Wednesday morning, Blunt stepped out on the red carpet looking feminine and flirty in her tea-length, strapless Osman frock. With its scalloped neckline, full skirt, and paisley print, the ensemble was only made more adorable thanks to her pink suede pumps, casual waves, and ruby David Yurman earrings.

Just hours later, Blunt’s style took a major (and majorly edgy) turn when she hit the Paris red carpet. Ditching her summer-ready ensemble in favor of a dark and daring, two-piece David Koma number — which featured sultry leather and lace details, as well as lots of sheer paneling — the actress was throwing out a definite dominatrix vibe (and that’s certainly not a complaint).

Though I thought it was practically impossible, Blunt managed to look even more gorgeous at Wednesday night’s New York premiere, bringing out her full-glam side in a smoking-hot, curve-hugging Prada gown. Featuring a cleavage-bearing, strapless neckline; subtle, figure-flatting boning; and a tasteful back slit, the gown fit Blunt like a glove and looked like absolute perfection. Better yet, the styling was positively on point, from the simple chignon and jeweled earrings to the matching pink pout, clutch, and heels.

It’s hard to pick a favorite outfit from these three fabulous choices, so I’m choosing to focus instead on what’s most important here: how impressive it is that Blunt not only has such a varied sense of style, but that she can also show off all her tricks in a snap.
