Baby George Walks this Way

by Celeste Mora

Oh my sweet biscuits, the royal baby has taken some royal (and teetering) first steps. Although Princess Kate was very close to His Royal Cuteness when he went on his royal jaunt Sunday, he did go tottering about on his own for a few precarious steps. Prince George was out and about because his dad chose to spend his Father's Day playing polo. Sadly, George looked desperately bored as he stood on the sidelines, and from that boredom came tottering, crawling, and eventually, crying. From the pictures, it seems like Duchess Kate had to hold the little guy back, while he tried to stroll right out onto the polo field to play with daddy.

George's other activities included "snuggling" mum, attempting to play soccer, and looking "fetching" in his pinkish overalls, according to the Mirror. His attempts at "soccer" (or "football") were heavily aided by mum, who also seemed more interested in playing than watching the endless polo match. Although the little future-king doesn't look too steady on his feet just yet, His Royal Highness will undoubtedly be walking toward the throne any day now. Good luck, little Prince of Cambridge, we hope hundreds of photographers can catch your next steps, because your first ones have made our Father's Day.
