This 'ER' Star is Off the Market

by Aly Semigran

He managed to keep it under wraps for a little while, but Noah Wyle is a newlywed. The former ER star, and your most underrated TV crush, announced on The View on Tuesday that he wed Sara Wells on their farm in Santa Barbara, California earlier this month. "It was beautiful. It was great. It was a very small ceremony," the 43-year-old actor revealed.

Wyle — who is currently promoting the fourth season of his sci-fi drama Falling Skies — was previously married to makeup artist Tracy Warbin, with whom he has two children. He and Wells, a fellow entertainer who describes herself on her website as an "honest-to-goodness, real life Fairy Princess," began dating in 2011.

"We got married on the ranch in front of the barn and then took a honeymoon. We just got back from Paris, which was incredible. Very romantic!" Wyle said during his appearance on the talk show. "I love to walk in foreign cities and get lost and then find my way back and the jet-lag allowed us to do that. It's such a nightlife town anyway, and the sun doesn't go down until 10 o'clock this time of year so we just strolled around." (Top that, Clooney!)

Congratulations are definitely in order for the happy newlyweds, but that still doesn't mean we can't take a brief moment to remember everyone's dream TV husband of the '90s, the sweet, adorable Dr. John Carter.

You wanted nothing more than to protect him when he was a scared newbie at County General.

But then, whoa, hold on, he transformed into a totally confident babe.

Who wouldn't want to wrap their arms around the cuddly Carter?

Sigh. We'll always have ER!
