The Most Patriotic Outfits In The Crowd

In case you haven't heard from your friends, co-workers, or literally anyone else on the streets, Thursdays USA v Germany World Cup is a big deal. Even if you got to take off work for the game (because every four years citizens of the United States decide soccer matters), there's nothing quite like watching all the ball-kicking action live and in person. I'm seriously envious of all the fans who got to witness it all go down in Brazil today. And, of course, it wouldn't be a sporting event if you didn't dress yourself from head to toe in the colors of your team, right?!

After watching the game on TV, I have visions of red, white, and blue outfits burned into my brain — American flag Converse, bows and headbands with stars and stripes, and so many soccer scarves. And although it's hard to take your eyes off the field during such an intense game, sometimes you need to take a look through the crowd to see the patriotic outfits and crazy fans. I mean, otherwise we would have missed out on Teddy Goalsevelt! So let's keep believing and keep the USA chants going strong. Check out all the serious patriotic fans in the crowd today — they certainly have me believing that we will win! After all, nothing says America quite like some well-placed face paint.
